body, Soldadera AND COLONEL: THE WOMAN IN THE REVOLUTION

itinerant collective exhibition for the bicentenary
This sample is especially interested in the participation of Mexican women in the Mexican Revolution. Usually it is a widespread failure of their role in this important movement in history Mexico, and this show wants to give a pictorial tribute to those mythical soldaderas, adelitas and colonels and clear of forgetting his presence.
Participating artists today think it is unjustifiable to redeem not as important actors in history, for the good of Mexico today.

In his second appearance at the Mazatlan Art Museum will join over 17 artists and then continue with its tour, with the final presence of 41 artists presenting their work.
Participating artists are accredited members of different and distinctive visual arts organizations including: The Hall Mexican Plastic, ARTAC, SOMAAP, SUMMA Talent, Artists Atzcapotzalco, Sinaloenses artists and independent artists.
